Together we shall proceed!

Any donation to the school will be heavily appreciated.

Donations could be in the form of educational posters, extra chalk, pens, paper or etc.

Anything that you can spare will be welcomed. There is no item that could do the school harm, so anything you ask yourself ‘could they use this’ the answer is yes. The people here are resourceful, and thoughtful, and a use shall be found for anything that they are given.

There is a particular need within the school for student lunches. It is not uncommon for a student to faint in the afternoon from lack of nourishment. Many students live too far away to get home during their lunch break, and the families of many others lack the resources to supply their children with lunch. The government is supposed to give the school money for a lunch program, but this year the school has not received any funds and has been relying on money from donations to keep the children fed.

The donations that have been received so far have been wonderful, but anything further that could be spared to feed these children would be more than amazing. It costs 130 u.s.d. to buy enough maize and beans to feed these 323 children for 5 days: two dollars and fifty cents to pay for a week of a single child’s lunches. In some economies this may not be seen as a lot, but within Olosho-Oibor it is more than the community can afford. So please, give what you can. Give anything you can. From 50cents to 5dollars, help feed this children.

Check to the school should be made out to Olosho-Oibor Primary, and both checks and supplies can be sent to

P.O. box 552, Ngong Hills, Kenya
